There is something special happening among the students of Evangel. They are experiencing the powerful presence of God and being propelled into their God-given destiny.
Have you ever thought there was more to life than what you are experiencing now? Do feel like you are caught in a cultural undertow that is keeping you from being all that God created you to be?
If you are looking for a place unlike any other, where you can discover your divine destiny and be helped to achieve it, you’ve found it. Catapult Student Ministries believes that God has a unique purpose for your life, but you can’t fulfill it by trying to be like everyone else.
If you want to explore God’s incredible plan for your life and how to get started in following it, come and hang out with us.
You’ll find students just like you who want more than what the world offers, and who believe a relationship with Christ is where it begins.
Stop by on a Wednesday Night at 7:00 pm for one of our midweek “main events,” which include crazy and sometimes messy games, cool giveaways, drama and video, intimate worship, small group discussions, powerful messages and the chance to make lasting friendships.
In addition to Wednesday nights, we also go to concerts, play sports together, sponsor fun activities, attend weekend retreats, summer camps, missions trips, and more.
July 20-26: Mission Trip to Daytona Beach
Speed the Light
The concept is simple: we give so others can speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness. This is accomplished by providing the essential transportation and creative communication equipment for missionary evangelism. Through modern transportation, radio, television, the printed word, and equipment for mass evangelism, our missionaries can better fulfill the Great Commission.
Speed the Light (STL) is the student-initiated, volunteer, charitable program that Catapult supports. Through this partnership, we are providing much-needed equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 180 countries around the world. Since its beginning, STL has raised over $220 million for missionary equipment around the world.
Fine Arts is a discipleship tool designed to help students discover and develop their ministry gifts. Beginning in September each year, Catapult students start preparing their entries for the state and national festivals.
Students well over 50 categories to choose from in seven main divisions: Art, Communication, Drama, Exhibition, Instrumental, Vocal, and Writing. Every year Catapult has many students who qualify on a state level and travel to the national event to compete against the best of over 70,000 middle and high school students from around the country.
Each year Catapult teams go on mission trips, both here in America and around the world.
Our FUSE team leads a domestic trip for middle school students every summer. In years past, they have traveled to Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida and Arkansas to serve children in need.
Our high school students take an international trip every summer. Destinations have included Argentina, Belize, El Salvador and Jamaica.
