Tim & Heather Gross, our pastors for over 15 years, recently accepted a leadership position with the Assemblies of God in Georgia. They are now providing resources, support and encouragement to pastors, missionaries and churches all across the state so they can have an even greater impact for the Kingdom of God.
Though we were heartbroken to see them go, we are excited about the future of Evangel and believe the best is yet to come. A search committee is currently assisting the Board in identifying the individual God has called to be our new pastor. Please pray with us for the Holy Spirit’s leading in this important, painstaking process.

Faith was saved and baptized at Evangel as a teenager and now she is serving the families of our church part-time, ministering to the elementary-aged to children. Her welcoming smile and infectious joy make her someone the children can’t wait to see every Sunday morning. Faith is presently completing her nursing degree at Georgia State.
Destiny came on staff as Administrative Assistant in 2018. She is a graduate of Southeastern University and previously served at a church in Orlando in various capacities. The McDonald’s have three children: Sydney, Peyton and Judah. Destiny is also a professional photographer.
