Uncommon – A Relationship Series: “Uncommon Communication”

The number of email and text messages we send and receive each day is increasing, but the amount of communication taking place seems to be decreasing. We never talk anymore. Digital modes of communication are easier, faster and make us less uncomfortable, but we pay a high price in the quality of our relationships. We text and message each other because it is less painful—but the pain is the point. The messiness of human communication is what leads to better relationships.
